Account Safety — Best Practices

Wolf Growth runs your engagement in the background. To get the best results and avoid Activity Pauses, treat your Instagram account naturally outside the tool.

This short guide covers the habits that keep accounts stable over the long term.

The #1 rule — don't overlap manual + automated activity

When Wolf Engager Pro / Growth Engine Pro / Inbox Assistant is running, Instagram is tracking your account's overall action rate. If you ALSO start manually liking 30 posts from your phone, the combined volume looks robotic and triggers a safety pause.

The fix: When you want to use Instagram heavily yourself, pause the workflow first.

  1. Open the task → Status → Inactive → Save
  2. Use Instagram normally
  3. Come back, set Status → Active → Save

Stats and progress are preserved — pausing this way doesn't reset anything.

What you CAN do while it's running

  • ✅ Reply to DMs
  • ✅ Post photos, reels, stories
  • ✅ Reply to comments on your own posts
  • ✅ Review insights / analytics
  • ✅ Adjust Wolf Growth settings

What to avoid while it's running

  • ❌ Liking lots of posts manually from the phone
  • ❌ Bulk-following or unfollowing manually
  • ❌ Sending DMs from the IG app while Inbox Assistant is also replying
  • ❌ Switching apps constantly

Don't run every action at full speed

Running Likes + Follows + Comments + Story Views + Story Engagement + DMs all at max is the fastest way to a pause.

Pick 2–3 main actions and run those well. Keep the rest off, or at half-speed:

Healthy mix (established account) Risky mix
Likes 100/day, Follows 100/day, Story Views 600/day Every action type at the maximum

Use Working Hours

Real humans don't engage at 3 AM. Set Working Hours to your audience's natural waking hours (e.g. 8 AM – 10 PM in their timezone). Two big wins:

  • Instagram sees activity that matches a real person's schedule
  • Lets you use Instagram personally outside those hours without overlap

New accounts: turn on Auto-warmup

Any Instagram account under 7 days old should run with Auto-warmup mode ON (under Prorate Settings).

  • Day 1–2: 25% capacity
  • Day 3–4: 50% capacity
  • Day 5–6: 75% capacity
  • Day 7+: Full speed

Single biggest reducer of Activity Pauses for new accounts.

Login & device consistency

Instagram tracks where you log in from. Patterns that hurt account trust:

  • ❌ Logging in from a different country every week
  • ❌ Constantly switching between phone, tablet, browser, and another phone
  • ❌ Using a public Wi-Fi VPN one day and home IP the next

The Smart workflow runs through a fixed proxy. Keep your manual logins consistent too — same phone, same browser, same Wi-Fi when possible.

Keep posting content

Active content creators are trusted more by Instagram than dormant accounts. Aim for at least:

  • 1–3 posts per week
  • 2–5 stories per week
  • Replies to your DMs and comments

This is the cheapest insurance against suspicion. Empty accounts running engagement = red flag. Active accounts running engagement = normal user.

Set up Wolf Alerts

Get notified the moment something needs attention — account disconnect, error, or activity pause. See the Wolf Alerts guide.

Without alerts, you can lose 8 hours of paused activity before noticing the green dot has nothing happening behind it.

Account hardening (general trust signals)

These don't affect Wolf Growth directly but improve overall account trust:

  • ✅ Complete profile (bio, picture, website)
  • ✅ Verified email + phone number
  • ✅ Two-factor authentication on
  • ✅ Consistent posting cadence
  • ✅ Connect Facebook business setup if applicable

Quick recap

  1. Pause Wolf Growth before manual sessions
  2. Don't run every action at max — pick 2–3
  3. Use Working Hours
  4. Auto-warmup for new accounts
  5. Keep login consistent
  6. Keep posting
  7. Set up Wolf Alerts

Follow these, and Activity Pauses become rare.
