π Growth Engine Pro (Full Walkthrough)
Growth Engine Pro runs your post-based Instagram engagement: Likes, Follows, Comments, and Unfollows on real audiences in your niche. It's separate from Wolf Engager Pro (which focuses on story interactions) β you can run both at once on the same account, or just one.
What it does
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Likes | Likes posts from people on your target list |
| Follow | Follows users from your targets |
| Unfollow | Cleans up your following list after N days |
| Comments | Post comments on targeted users' recent posts (AI-generated or your custom templates) |
| Comment Likes | Likes the comments on targeted posts |

π‘ Plan Note: Growth Engine Pro is included with Wolf Pro and Wolf Business. Feature availability depends on your subscription package.
Open the Account Settings page β Targeting section. Pick your target type:
- Followers β engages followers of accounts you list (β top pick)
- Likers β engages users who liked posts from accounts you list (β top pick)
- Hashtags β engages users posting under specific tags
- Keywords / Keywords (Reels) β captions matching specific words
- Explore β Instagram's algorithmic feed
- Locations (Places) β users tagging specific places
- Self Timeline β your own audience for re-engagement
Recommended: Start with 30β50 username accounts under Followers or Likers. Use Target List to paste them in bulk.
Step 2 β Configure your actions
In Account Settings, you'll see toggles for each action:
Enable Likes
- Likes per day: 50 (new) β 100 (established)
- Toggle Like Timeline Posts if you also want to like posts from your home feed
Enable Follow
- Follows per day: 50 (new) β 100 (established)
- Mute followed users (None / All / Stories / Posts) β most customers pick All to keep their feed clean
Enable Unfollow
- Unfollows per day: match your Follow speed
- After N days: when to unfollow someone you followed (5β7 days is balanced)
- Skip Users Following You Back: β ON (keep your real new audience)
- Smart Unfollow Trigger: optional β auto-triggers a cleanup when your following count crosses a threshold
Enable Comments
- Comments per day: 10 (new) β 20β30 (established)
- Add your comment templates with Spintax (see Spintax guide)
- Or set up AI comment generation (see Step 5)
Step 3 β Set Working Hours
Scroll to Working Hours β toggle ON. Pick the hours your audience is awake. The workflow only runs during those hours, which:
- Looks more natural to Instagram (real people don't engage 24/7)
- Reduces Activity Pauses dramatically
- Lets you manually use Instagram outside those hours without overlap
Recommended: 8 AM β 10 PM in your audience's primary timezone.
Step 4 β Set Audience Filters (optional but recommended)
Tighten audience quality with Audience Filters:
- Country Filter β whitelist or blacklist specific countries
- Verified Filter β skip verified accounts (or only target them)
- Gender Selection β male / female / unisex
- Language Filter β only engage accounts posting in your target languages
- Skip My Followers β don't waste actions on people who already follow you
- Skip Users Following You Back β for Unfollow (keep real audience)
Filters reduce speed slightly but significantly improve audience quality.
Step 5 β AI Comment Generation (advanced)
Growth Engine Pro can generate unique comments per post using OpenAI, DeepSeek, or xAI. Setup:
- Get an API key from your chosen provider (OpenAI guide)
- Open Comment Settings in Account Settings
- Pick your AI provider + model
- Paste your API key
- Write a Prompt describing the comment style (e.g., "Write a short, friendly comment relevant to the post. Keep it under 80 characters. Match the post's tone.")
- Toggle AI Comments ON
The AI reads each post's caption and generates a context-relevant comment automatically. Way more natural than static templates.
π‘ Stick with
gpt-5-miniordeepseek-chatas your model β they're cheap and good enough. Bigger models cost 3β5Γ more for marginal quality gain.
Step 6 β Auto-warmup for new accounts
If your Instagram account is under 7 days old, open Account Health & Limits β enable Auto-warmup. It scales your daily limits down for the first 7 days and ramps up automatically.
Step 7 β Activate the workflow
- At the top of Account Settings, set Status β Active
- Click Save Settings
- The Smart workflow starts within 1β2 minutes
Confirm it's running by checking the Activity Log β you should see entries within a few minutes.
Campaigns vs. Account Settings
Growth Engine Pro has two levels:
- Account Settings β the default workflow for one Instagram account (everything above)
- Campaigns β separate strategies you can run on the same account (e.g., "follow-only morning campaign" + "comment-only evening campaign")
Most customers use just Account Settings. Campaigns are for advanced users running multiple strategies in parallel.
Recommended daily limits
| Action | New (<30 days) | Established (60+ days) |
|---|---|---|
| Likes | 50 | 100 |
| Follows | 50 | 100 |
| Unfollows | 50 | 100 |
| Comments | 10 | 20β30 |
Set up Wolf Alerts (Telegram notifications)
Get notified the moment something needs attention. See the Wolf Alerts setup guide β same setup as Wolf Engager Pro.
Source Tracking
Toggle Source Tracking ON in Account Settings β check the Stats tab a week later. You'll see which target sources actually produced followers and likes for you. Drop the underperformers, double down on what's working.
Common mistakes
- β Running every action at full speed on a new account (use Auto-warmup)
- β Same comment template for everyone (use Spintax with 8+ variations, or AI Comments)
- β Running GEP + Wolf Engager Pro's post-Likes feature at the same time on one account (overlap)
- β Skipping Working Hours β looks unnatural to Instagram
- β Comments at 50/day on a new account β drop to 10/day
