Smart Engagements

Smart Engagement covers the bread-and-butter actions that grow your account: liking posts, leaving comments, following people, and later unfollowing them.

Open your task and find the Smart Engagement section. You'll see four main toggles, each with its own settings.

This guide walks you through each one — what it does, how to configure it, and how to avoid the most common mistakes.

Likes — engaging with posts

Tick Enable Likes to start liking posts from people on your target list.

Daily limit (recommended):

  • New accounts (under 30 days old or recently re-warmed): 50 likes per day
  • Established accounts (active 30+ days, no recent pauses): 100 likes per day

Speed setting: Pick how often you want likes to fire. Lower = slower but safer. We recommend matching your speed to your daily limit — for 50/day, set a speed that gives a like roughly every 20–30 minutes.

⚠️ Don't run Likes and Story Likes at the same time. If you're already running Story Likes in the Story Actions section, turning on regular post Likes here can create overlap that triggers safety pauses. Pick one or the other, not both.

Follow — adding people to your following list

Tick Enable Follow to follow users from your target list.

Daily limit (recommended):

  • New accounts: 50 follows per day
  • Established accounts: 100 follows per day

Mute followed users (optional): Once Wolf Engager Pro follows someone, you can automatically mute them so your feed doesn't fill up with their content. You'll still appear as a follower, but their posts and stories won't clutter your home feed.

Option What happens
None You'll see all their posts and stories normally
All Mutes both their posts AND their stories
Stories Mutes only their stories
Posts Mutes only their posts

💡 "All" is the most popular choice for accounts running large follow campaigns — it keeps your feed clean while still showing your following count growing.

Unfollow — keeping your following count healthy

Instagram has a soft cap on how many people you can follow. The cleanup pattern: follow people for a few days, then unfollow them.

Tick Enable Unfollow to remove people you've previously followed.

Daily limit (recommended):

  • New accounts: 50 unfollows per day
  • Established accounts: 100 unfollows per day

After how many days: Pick how long to wait before unfollowing someone after you followed them. Common picks:

  • 3 days — fast cycle
  • 5–7 days — balanced
  • 14+ days — slow, looks most natural

Skip Users Following You Back (recommended ON): When checked, Wolf Engager Pro won't unfollow people who followed you back. These are your real new audience — keep them.

Comments — leaving custom replies on posts

Comments are the highest-engagement action you can run — they make accounts curious enough to click your profile. But they're also the riskiest if done poorly, so go slow.

Tick Enable Comments to start commenting.

The Comments field: Add your comment templates here, one per line. Wolf Engager Pro picks one at random for each comment.

Daily limit (recommended):

  • New accounts: 10 comments per day
  • Established accounts: 20–30 per day

Keep this MUCH lower than likes. A burst of comments is the fastest path to a safety pause.

Make comments look natural with Spintax

Plain repeating comments stand out fast. Spintax is a simple syntax that creates random variations from one template.

Wrap alternatives in {}   and separate them with |   — the system picks one each time:

{Hey|Hi|Hello|Hey there}, {great|awesome|amazing} post! {🔥|👏|💯}

That single template produces 36 different combinations — every comment looks unique:

  • "Hi, awesome post! 👏"
  • "Hey there, amazing post! 🔥"
  • "Hello, great post! 💯"
  • ...

You can nest spintax inside spintax for even more variation.

Variables you can use — these get filled in automatically per user:

Variable What it becomes
{{username}}   The target's Instagram handle (e.g. mike_johnson  )
{{full_name}}   Their display name (e.g. Mike Johnson  )

Example combining both:

{Hey|Hi} {{full_name}}, {love this|great content}! {👏|🔥}

💡 Aim for at least 8–10 unique combinations in your template list. Repeating the same comment is the most obvious bot signal Instagram looks for.

Emojis and links are also supported anywhere in your templates.

While Smart Engagement is running

Treat your Instagram account lightly during active hours. Safe activities:

  • ✅ Respond to DMs
  • ✅ Post photos, reels, stories
  • ✅ Reply to your own comments
  • ✅ Review insights

Avoid doing in parallel:

  • ❌ Manually liking lots of posts from your phone
  • ❌ Bulk-following accounts manually
  • ❌ Posting comments from the IG app while Wolf Engager Pro is also commenting

If you need to use Instagram heavily, switch your task to Inactive for a few hours, finish what you're doing, and switch it back on.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • ❌ Running Post Likes + Story Likes at the same time — overlap risk; pick one
  • ❌ Comment burst of 50+/day on a new account — start with 10/day max
  • ❌ Using the same comment template for everyone — use Spintax with 8+ variations
  • ❌ Skipping the "Skip Users Following You Back" option in Unfollow — you'll lose your real audience
  • ❌ Setting follows and unfollows to wildly different speeds — keep them roughly balanced so your following count stays stable
Action New account Established account
Likes 50 100
Follows 50 100
Unfollows 50 100
Comments 10 20–30

💡 New accounts: turn on Auto-warmup mode under Prorate Settings. It scales these limits down automatically for the first 7 days and ramps up safely. [See: Auto-warmup Guide →]
