Setup Story Reactions
Story interactions are one of the safest and most powerful ways to grow an Instagram account. People notice when you view their stories, like them, vote on their polls, or reply to their stickers — and they often come back to check who you are.
Wolf Engager Pro can handle all of these automatically. This guide walks you through what's available and how to set it up properly.
What story actions can you run
Open your task and find the Story Actions section. You'll see toggles for:
- Story Views — silently watches stories of your targets (most invisible, hardest to detect)
- Story Likes — taps the heart on stories
- Emoji Reactions — sends an emoji reaction (👏, 😍, 😂, etc.)
- Poll Votes — votes on Instagram polls
- Slider Votes — moves the slider on the slider stickers
- Quiz Votes — picks an answer on quiz stickers
- Question Answers — sends replies to Question stickers
- Countdown Follows — follows countdown stickers
You don't need to enable everything. Pick what fits your strategy — most accounts do well with Story Views + Story Likes as the baseline, and add Emoji Reactions for extra warmth.
Step 1 — Enable Story Views and Story Likes together
This is the most important step. If you turn on Story Views without Story Likes, the task may stop working depending on the algorithm you pick.
- Open your task settings → scroll to Story Actions
- Tick View Stories
- Tick Like Stories
- Choose an algorithm — we recommend 1:1+M (Recommended) (it's the default)
💡 The tool will automatically check Like Stories for you when you tick View Stories under the Recommended algorithm — so you don't have to worry about forgetting.
About the algorithms (in plain English):
| Algorithm | What it does |
|---|---|
| 1:1+M (Recommended) | Views and likes the most recent story for each user. Best balance of speed and safety. |
| 1:1+M (Last Story) | Same as Recommended, but always picks the very last story |
| 1:1 | One view, one like — most conservative pacing |
| Basic / Advanced | Older modes — only use if a specialist tells you to |
Then set "Select how you'd like to like stories" to "Last Story (Recommended)" — we recommend this. That liking only the most recent story looks more natural than liking every story in someone's feed.
Step 2 — Add Emoji Reactions (optional but powerful)
Emoji reactions stand out more than a silent view — and they're harder to scale, which makes them feel personal.
- In Story Actions, tick on Emoji Reactions (it groups Polls, Sliders, Quizzes, Countdowns, Q&A reactions together)
- In the Emoji field, you'll see
👏as the default. You can change it or add more:Example: 😍, 😂, 😮, 😢, 😡, 👏(the 6 default Instagram Quick Reactions)- The system picks one at random from your list each time
- Pick how often you want it to happen: from 3 per hour to once every 12 days
💡 Keep emoji reactions slow. Instagram notices fast emoji-spam from a single account. 2–3 per hour is a healthy ceiling. The default is set up safely.
Step 3 — Set the interaction interval
Right above the toggles, there's a setting: "How often should you interact with the same user for the above actions?"
This controls how soon Wolf Engager Pro is allowed to re-engage someone you've already viewed/reacted/voted on.
- Once per 24 hours — most natural, recommended
- Once per 12 hours — for higher-volume strategies
- Once per 3 days+ — for slow, deliberate growth
The longer the interval, the more authentic your account looks — but the slower it scales. We recommend starting at once per day and only changing it if you're seeing slowdowns.
Step 4 — Save and let it run
Click Save at the top of the task page. Your task will start performing story actions in the background.
You can check what's running in real time via the Activity Log tab — you'll see entries like:
Story Views— silently viewed a target's storyStory Reactions— voted on a poll / slider / quizLike stories— liked a storyEmoji reaction— sent an emoji to a story
Common mistakes to avoid
- ❌ Enabling View Stories without Like Stories under the Recommended algorithm — the task will run but won't produce results. The system auto-fixes this for you, but if you saved a task before the fix shipped, open it and confirm Like Stories is checked.
- ❌ Sending emojis too fast — keep at 2–3 per hour max. Emoji spam is the fastest way to trigger a safety pause.
- ❌ Voting on every poll — once per day per user is plenty. More creates a pattern.
- ❌ Picking unusual emojis that aren't in Instagram's Quick Reactions list — they work but stand out less. Stick to: 😍 😂 😮 😢 😡 👏.
While Wolf Engager Pro is running
Keep your account light on Instagram during active hours — too much overlap with your own manual scrolling can confuse Instagram's session checks. You can safely:
- ✅ Respond to DMs
- ✅ Post stories and reels
- ✅ Review your insights
- ✅ Manage your Wolf Engager Pro settings
Try to avoid:
- ❌ Liking dozens of posts manually from the same logged-in session
- ❌ Following lots of accounts manually during active hours
- ❌ Switching between IG and Wolf Engager Pro every minute
If you need to use Instagram heavily, switch your task to Inactive in Wolf Engager Pro, do your thing, and turn it back on after.
