Wolf Engager Pro — Full Setup Guide
This single guide walks you through every section of Wolf Engager Pro. Each part is short on purpose — read what you need, skip what you don't.
1. Choose your targets
Targeting is the single most important decision. We recommend leading with Followers and Likers — they reach real, engaged audiences who already follow accounts similar to yours.
Recommended setup:
- Add 30–50 unique accounts (competitors, influencers, similar niches)
- For each one, target their Followers or Likers
- Pick accounts with 10K–300K followers that posted within the last week
Use Target List for bulk import:
Click Target List above your target field → paste up to 100 usernames at once → click Add & Save. We validate each one and automatically save the valid ones.
Add variety after your base is set:
Hashtags, Keywords, Keywords (Reels), Explore (use "Default Page"), Places, Self Timeline.

Common mistakes
❌ Fewer than 20 accounts • Same competitor as both Followers + Likers • Accounts inactive 30+ days • Mega-accounts (1M+) • Never refreshing the list
Save your targets
View Targets → select all → copy → paste into a notepad. Reuse it on other accounts later via Paste Settings.
2. Story Engagement
Open Story Actions in task settings. We recommend turning on View Stories and Like Stories at the same time.
The algorithms (in plain English)

⚠️ Always pair View Stories with Like Stories under the Recommended algorithm. View Stories alone will not produce results. Wolf Engager Pro auto-pairs them for you.
Emoji Reactions (optional)
Turn on Emoji Reactions to send reactions to polls, sliders, quizzes, countdowns, and Q&A. Default emoji: 👏. Recommended set: 😍, 😂, 😮, 😢, 😡, 👏 (the Instagram Quick Reactions).
Keep emoji speed slow — 2–3 per hour max.
Reaction frequency
Once every 24 hours per user is the sweet spot. Higher intervals (3–7 days) look more natural for low-volume accounts.
3. Smart Engagement (Likes, Follows, Comments)
Open the Smart Engagement section. Four main toggles:

⚠️ Don't run Likes and Story Likes at the same time — they overlap. Pick one.
Follow Users
- Speed: follows per day
- Mute followed users: None / All / Stories / Posts (we recommend All for follow-heavy campaigns)
Unfollow Users
- Speed: unfollows per day
- After N days: 5–7 days is balanced; 14+ is most natural
- Skip Users Following You Back: turn this ON — keep your real new audience
Comments — write good templates
Plain repeating comments stand out fast. Use Spintax to generate variations:
{Hey|Hi} {{full_name}}, {great|awesome} post! {🔥|👏|💯}
That single template generates 36 unique variations.
Variables: {{username}} and {{full_name}} get filled in automatically per user.
Aim for 8+ unique combinations. Repeating the same comment is the fastest path to an Activity Pause.
4. Custom Direct Messages
Open Send Direct Messages. Write your message templates one per line, or use Spintax for variations.
Recommended daily limits
- New accounts: Don't run DMs yet
- 30–60 days: 5–10 per day
- 60+ days, stable: 15–25 per day
- Aged accounts: up to 30–50 per day

Best practices:
- Short first message (under 100 chars)
- Personal greeting using
{{full_name}} - 50+ unique variations to avoid duplicate detection
- Don't put a URL in every variation — only some
5. Welcome DM & Pending DMs
Two separate features for managing your inbox:
Welcome DM
Automatically sends a custom DM to new followers. Configure in the Welcome DM section — same Spintax + variables as Custom DMs.
Pending DM Reply
Auto-handles DM Requests sitting in your "Message Requests" folder. Options:
- Reply to pending DM Requests: sends your configured message to each one
- Don't like the last message: skip the auto-like on incoming requests
- Don't mute approved DM threads: skip auto-muting after reply (prevents notification flood)
6. Source Tracking
Tracks which targeting sources actually produce followers and likes for your account. Turn it on, then check Stats tab a week later to see which sources are working. Adjust your targets based on the data.
7. Wolf Alerts (via Telegram)
Get real-time alerts on your phone for daily summaries, account disconnects, and errors.
One-time setup:
- Open Telegram → search
@WolfGrowthBot→ tap Start - Search
@userinfobot→ tap Start → copy your Chat ID - Paste Chat ID into the Wolf Alerts section
- Tick the alerts you want, click Save

8. Task Filters (admin/agency feature)
Hidden by default. Used by agencies managing many accounts. Leave unchecked unless your Growth Team tells you otherwise. Click Flush Filters to reset.
9. Activity Log
Shows every action the Smart workflow performs in real time. Status ok means everything's running. If you see entries like Activity paused or Activity pause detected , see the Activity Pause guide.
10. Auto-warmup mode (for new accounts)
If your account is under 7 days old, always enable Auto-warmup mode in the Prorate Settings section. It scales your activity:
- Day 1–2: 25% capacity
- Day 3–4: 50% capacity
- Day 5–6: 75% capacity
- Day 7+: Full capacity
Pairs with smart targeting and reduces Activity Pauses dramatically.
11. Activate Wolf Engager Pro
- Set Status → Active at the top of the task page
- Click Save
- Confirm the green indicator appears next to your IG username on the accounts list
The Smart workflow starts within 1–2 minutes.
To make changes safely
Set Status → Inactive, Save, edit your settings, then Status → Active, Save. Stats and progress are preserved.
While the workflow is running
✅ Reply to DMs, post content, review insights
❌ Don't manually like/follow/comment from the phone — overlap triggers Activity Pauses
12. Copy / Paste Task Settings
To back up settings: click Copy Settings → paste into a notepad.
To clone to another account: open the new account's task → click Paste Settings → paste your backup → click Save.
Saves hours of re-configuration.
